NEWS:

Due to your feedback, we have added an extra width (2-3mm) to all our new Spring 2013 shoes. We don't consider ourselves to be wide fitting specialists but the extra width should make many of you feel more comfortable.

We have also added Sizes UK 11/Eur and UK 12/Eur 46 to all our new styles.

The Ladies large shoes size guide below is a general guide to show size conversions for our large size shoes.

You can also click on the CURRENCY/SIZE button at the top of the website to browse the site in EU or US sizes with all prices in Euros or USD.

However, size conversions will vary between factories and countries of origin. So, to help you find the best fit for your shoe size, when you select an individual style from the Collection, you will find a Size & Fitting tab for that shoe. There, we advise the length and width of each size for that particular shoe. Although measuring your feet doesn't guarantee a perfect fit (as fit will vary also according to the style of the shoe), it should ensure you don't buy a shoe that is much too narrow for you for example. If you have a wider than average foot, we STRONGLY recommend that you look carefully at the width measurements we provide: even if they are not the final word in whether a shoe will fit you, they may stop you purchasing a pair of shoes that don't fit and incur postal charges unnecessarily.

MEASURING YOUR FEET

In order to measure your foot to find your length and width, please follow these instructions:

Take two pieces of A4 paper and sellotape them together at their short edge. Tape the paper to the floor so that it doesn’t move. Take your shoes and socks off! Place your left foot on the paper and draw around it keeping the pencil or pen as upright as possible. Repeat the above for your right foot. Using a tape measure or ruler, measure in millimetres from the middle of the back of the heel to the end of your big toe using a ruler or tape measure. If your second toe is longer than your big toe, measure to the end of this instead. Then do the same across the widest part of your foot - between the joints. (See diagram above). Now compare your measurements with our large size shoe chart listed for your chosen shoe.

Remember the following points when purchasing closed shoes, boots and sandals (open sandals are roomier but you should still be aware of any advice below on length):

Your foot size can vary between the left and right so measure both and order your shoe in the larger of the two sizes.
Your feet swell as the day progresses so measure your feet later in the day.
The length we advise for each shoe size is from the back of the heel to the point at which we expect your big toe to end. If your second toe is the same length as your big toe or longer than your big toe, you are likely to need a slightly longer shoe when buying pointed shoes. Measure to this toe on our chart rather than your big toe.
Your width is measured at the widest point of your foot. If you have a wide foot you may need to order a longer size than your ideal length on all closed shoes and boots. If you have a particularly narrow foot, we suggest using an insole in the shoe to fill it out a little.
If you become a member, you can record your length and width in My Account for future visits.
